Ode to “les nouveaux mariés”

On July 1st we were blessed to attend the wedding of our close friends Aaron and Kim.  The wedding was beautiful and Kate was in heaven as she was asked to act as a co-flower girl with one of her best friends, Juliana.  Jake actually survived the wedding without screaming and an excellent time was had by all.

Check-ups and Pictures

Kate just had her 4 year check-up, and is doing great.  She’s 39.4 pounds (75%), and 42.5 inches tall (95%).  Jacob had his 2 month check-up a couple weeks ago, and he’s bulking up.  He’s up to 11 pounds, 4 ounces (50%) and 24 inches tall (90%).

Happy 4th Birthday Kate!

Kate’s Birthday just passed, and to celebrate we rented out a kiddie pool at the local park and invited all her friends over for a couple hours of fun.  The day was beautiful and sunny and everyone had a great time.

After the fun at the park, we went home to open the presents (notice the loaded table behind her).  She made out like a bandit…just like every time there are presents involved.
